Barbados as a destination for summer holidays
While Barbados is considered by many as a winter destination, and you can see approximately seventy-five percent of tourist arrivals during the winter months, the island can also be a very desirable destination for summer travel.
The average daytime temperature in Barbados is between 28 to 30 degrees Celsius throughout the year. There are two big differences in temperature between winter and summer and that is the winter nights are much cooler that the summer months as the northern cold fronts pass through the island and while daytime temperatures official change throughout the year to just the summer months seems be hotter, because it's less windy.
For those who have always dreamed of a holiday in Barbados, but I always thought that was beyond their budget, Summer is the perfect time to fulfill that dream.
Summer travel to Barbados can be considerably cheaper from airline tickets, as the fall prices for airlines to meet flights. Car rental companies also offer special deals, either in the form of extra days thrown or prices low, you may pay the same price for the rental of five days in summer, as you have paid rent for three days in winter.
Water sports and other companies do not officially drop their rates, but as small apartments and guesthouses, it is sometimes possible to negotiate cheaper rates multiple reservations for groups or activities.

The official start of hurricane season in June and runs through November. While hurricanes always travel through the Caribbean on its way to the west, Barbados individual possibilities of receiving a direct hit are small. Barbados has not suffered direct hits three times in over 170 years and has been polished by the edges of a couple of times. More often than not these brushes consist of heavy tropical rains and winds generally less intense than a storm in Florida.
Barbados is as far east that most systems that pass through the Caribbean have not had time to become hurricanes and are so far south that systems are developed tend to travel north of the island and the rotation tends to give the system a path to the north. While these exceptions tend to be extremely rare.
To put your mind in the facility you can view satellite maps of the Atlantic before your trip as these can show the storms and the waves of the Atlantic in the days before from even before reaching the Caribbean.
It is surprising that visitors fear the Caribbean in the summer months for fear of a hurricane, but who come to Florida and Mexico, which have a greater chance of being hit.
In this period is the low season or out of a measure that arrivals of tourists leaving the island is quieter and less possibility that the activity or event you're interested in being sold, with the exception of activities that make small groups of people such as surf lessons and tours diving which tend to have small groups and also can make for a pleasant holiday.
In terms of people looking for a destination for family vacations Barbados is the ideal choice, with the beaches full of children on summer vacation from school and a greater number of activities related to children offered as more children-oriented films at the cinema and the Drive-In.
