Â

Dear Lillian:

Â

Number 41 adopted in Tom Mozart CDs. Thanks for thinking of me. I am grateful for their efforts to honor our brave military personnel and their families. U.S. has with the brave men and women a debt of gratitude, and I'm honored to be commander in chief of the greatest force for freedom in world history.

Â

Best Wishes.

Sincerely,

George W. Bush

Â

Inflexible HONOR

Â

Weakness invites moral plight, war and aggression

Encouraged by mistrust, misjudgment and delay.

All that love can be destroyed and transformed

For the powers of darkness maneuvering our way.

Â

When you look something bad with us in the face

To corrupt our morals, faith and determination.

God gives us courage to defend Whata € ™ s right

No matter the sacrifice or danger involved.

Â

Evil seeks to destroy the good in man

And silence the memory of Goda € ™ s the law.

Itâ € ™ s up to the faithful to remain inflexible

The defense of freedom and justice for all.

Â

Our men and women serving in harma € ™ s Way

Are the armor of what the free world depends.

Without their sacrifice of body and soul

All who stand for is gone.

God loves HIS SOLDIERS

Sometimes, itâ € ™ s hard to protect what is right

Sometimes wea € ™ re contempt for others who struggle.

Some of us are willing regardless loss

The commission of our soul to save the cross.

Â

Evil prospers on greed and human hate

Always eager to destroy and defecate.

Goda € ™ s grace descends on the souls of man

Cleaning the impure it can.

As long as man has struggled on earth

Life has had its problems from birth.

Goda € ™ s seed of goodness has delayed manâ € ™ s disappearance

Thank heaven for the heroes of the strong and wise.

Â

The Lord adores his heroes of yesterday

How many, that only he could say.

God loves his soldiers who line up to serve to

By standing against evil His grace they deserve.

Â

Never be afraid to be proud of AMERICA

America, wealth, place of my birth
I'll take care until the day I die.
When the bones of past heroes lie buried in soil
I loved her like me

Its mountains are so high they reach the sky
With prairies where the green grasses grow.
There are billions of trees where wild birds nest
With creatures that flourish below.

That blue gold called water with which we are blessed
As drops rain or crystallized snow;
The changes in rivers and freshwater lakes
While the winds of our seasons.

Therein lies the lair of a whistle of a freight train only
Racing on ribbons of steel
With the harvest of farms and factories
Balanced in a box on a wheel.

Some cities have buildings a hundred stories high
Concrete, glass and steel.
A statue in a harbor, a gift from France
He describes how, inside, we feel.

That flag on the moon with red and white stripes
U.S. demonstrates € ™ s dreams.
A country of heroes that align to protect
The past, present and the few.

Wea € ™ ll defeat terrorism as it should be fought
Never leave Satana € ™ s horde chase us to our door.
Safeguarding our borders and system of life
As our forefathers sacrificed before.

Never afraid to be proud of America
And March with the brave and loyal and fair.

Refusal to submit to the will of our enemies

Standing firm to preserve what we trust.

Â

IN THE Teeth of the Dog

Â

Throughout history the Man is born to fight

Surviving nature, disease, greed and war.

Since its conception has remained the same

The choice to serve good or bad as before.

Â

Our children face the dog's teeth

Hot Spots around our planet.

They leave their families and all who love

To protect and preserve what liberty is worth it.

Â

The enemies they face are the mad dogs of man

With the desire to kill, disfigure and enslave.

They sing and dance to the death of others

Teaching principles of hate till the grave.

Â

Support our troops who battle the horde

While we live the good life back home.

When you see a soldier show them your smile

Saying â € œhello and you do not love you alone.â €

Â

MAD DOGS OF MAN

Â

Wherever you live mad dogs of man

There is corruption, plunder and hate.

In each city, town or village

Those who promote distrust deserve their fate.

We are all born as an innocent child

To mislead others on the road.

God has always loved children

Despite breaking his heart when they stray.

Â

The mad dogs of man never repent

For those who have no sense of shame or pain.

Worship of domination and the dark side of life

Abusing victims as if there were no tomorrow.

Â

God gives the will not sin again

And to overcome evil unwilling to cease.

The mad dogs of man must be stopped

World peace that murder, rape and destruction.

Â

Samson, Solomon, and David

They were chosen by God to rise.

They face great difficulties and the fear of death

Refusing to ignore their call.

It is time for the good men of the earth

To unite to stop the horde.

Standing firm against tyranny where there

Putting the mad dogs of man with the sword.

Â

Where wars are won or lost

Wars are fought for older men
In battle rooms in countries apart.
Which require a greater firepower
And the troops of the table battle.

While out among the shattered flesh
The dreams of all have turned gray.
So young and determined their faces
Until in the battlefield they lay.

Unable to overcome his pride
Politicians cast their votes.
For this or that or something else
As the rage of war sounds its note.

Wherever wars are won or lost
The soldiers fall like toys.
Throughout the story continues remain the same
Most who die are just males.

Like monkeys in a revolving cage
Disputes for the peanut man of power.
When will we rise above our greed
And become a beautiful flower?

Death to death, dust to dust
The wrath of war is a crime horrible.
Itâ € ™ s the beast that still prevails
As has been through the torments of time.

WAR IS THE PLAGUE BIGGEST MAN

When war is waged to take over
And events beyond control.
The madness of men can alter the soil
He feeds the roots of his soul.

Much will change forever
Much more will want to be.
As the wrath of war starts to destroy
These things to fight to keep free.

War is the greatest plague of man
Religion, State, and sanity.
Any scourge is more preferred
Than which disables humanity.

When war breaks out, boundaries change
And all who die are a symbol
Of the rage that must run its course
Before he speaks words of peace.

I hate war, but not men, flags, or race
But the war itself, with its ugly face.
When lose faith in the brave, which die
Then you are not fit to greet those who weep.

What distinguishes war is not death
But that man is killed by his neighbor.
Crushed by cruelty and injustice
With the murderous hand of his enemy.

War tends to punish the punishers
Thus that the losers do not suffer alone.
The essence of war is nothing but violence
Until the survivors to return home in march.

It is sometimes difficult to defend what is right
Sometimes we are forced to stand and fight.
Sometimes we survive, while others must die
Sometimes, without knowing why.

Battle Fever is a natural buzz
Caused by fear, leaving nothing as it was.
Hunting one another like wild game
No shortage of blame.

Sometimes victory comes too slow or fast
Sometimes the cost of both sides is sick.
Sometimes God is asked to intervene
To help stop the savage from being so bad.

War is hell to visit before death
Fueled by the whisper of the devil's breath.
There must be a reason man destroys man
But why so, I can not understand.

September 11

Â

After suffering the wrath of a sneak attack
America now mourns its essence.
Though soon her enemies shall all flee
From the sound of America, the war.

Let there be no doubt, no doubt
The devil has decided to give us a call.
We will beat hella € ™ s soldiers and cast them
And if we die, that's what freedom is all about.

Let's look wherever they may hide
Street by street, house by house, cave by cave.
That will be eradicated from the face of the earth
For the righteous, the loyal and brave.

Satana € ™ S HORDE will retire

Overcoming the war and uncontrolled leaders
Our world gets more dangerous every day.
The crooked politicians, offenders and the media
Survive on their falsehoods at play.

Bible believers preach, that the end is near
Our world as a whole is beyond reform.
God will eradicate all that is bad
Beside the fire of eruption and storm.

For Evila € ™ s victory, never acknowledge
May its supporters anguish in hell.
By the grace of God and the power of faith
The goodness of man will prevail.

What we got is Heavener € ™ s far
As patriots respond to the threats of man.
Protect and defend what we love to death
As the soldiers of Satan arise from the sand.

SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF WWIII

Our children and daughters serve as damage
To defend our way of life.
Some are students, some grandparents
More than one husband or wife.

It face great difficulties without complaining
The life and physical integrity of the game for little money.
So far from all who love
Fighting for our troops whom we pray.

The plotters and planners of the condemnation of the United States
Commitment to murder and everything they can maul.
Since the first Children are taught
To kill is to become a man.

They exploit their young as weapons of choice
Teaching in the sky, virgin they expect.
Destroying lives along with their own
To learn of their falsehoods too late.

The cry of fear to be submitted
And find a way to calm them.
Where defenders worry if we're down
The future is bleak for the United States.

Now is not the time to fight among themselves
Or kiss our enemy's cheek.
Throughout the story remains the same
The strong enslave the weak.

May God continue to bless United States
Refusing evil, the upper hand.
It is for us to stand firm
The defense of the freedom of man.

SO Dear to my heart

So dear to my heart are my loved ones at home
As I throw and I turn in my bed alone.
Every day I see death hatred and corruption
Combat is a test from God of man's malfunction

For the family, colleagues, and I pray
For my love with this poem I want to convey.
I knew that I loved you though never how much
Until the war, I'm forced beyond your touch.

Where violence grows, there is a smell of death
With the taste of fear with each breath.
Who will prevail, that die
As the sadistic kill under the sky God.

Baghdad road became man to hell
When the heart of darkness are alive and well.
I count each day until it is time returning home
And being with my love and never alone.

Love You
The navy

FREEDOM

Â

In their new uniforms
The departure of young people outside
Unaware that again.
With a proud devotion
Stir his flag
Leaving loved ones to wonder and yearn.

They may be buried all
For all our children
It is a prayer of the ancient tribe.
They are so easy to lose
But so hard to forget
A burden for parents to bear.

Oh, the taste of victory
It will be soon forgotten
But they never lost.
For rows of white tombstones
In peaceful green fields
Facilitate the figure of the cost.

America has survived all attempts to destroy
Knowing the cruelty of war
And we who remain
It should help keep your free
For those who can not go much more!

Our banner

Our banner the fabric is woven wire
Carried by heroes live and dead.
She stands for justice and courage too
With their colors, red, white and blue.

For all who serve it, there will be applause
For any who die, there will be tears.
To everyone I love, life is swell
For those who damage to it, war is hell.

How many mothers have cried before
As they sent their sons to war.
As many parents have returned
Because our freedom must be earned.

Wars were waged where brave men died
As patriots fought side by side.
Our flag is still the pearl of the earth
Because those who prove their worth.

Patriotism

I dedicate this poem from inside my tent
As the desert winds keep it's silhouette bent.
My love for the country is in full swing now
I would describe, but it is hard know how.

Tomorrow I'll hunt those who enjoy our death
Cursed by hatred and dirt from the air.
I do not care if other than serving God
For the punishment of crime is what they deserve.

Their horde survives by a different set of rules,
Although it soon will know the fate of murderous fools.
I serve my country proudly and President
I've sworn to defend the one hundred percent.

While haunted by visions of what to do
I fight for justice, and the red, white, and blue.

Veterans Day

The cost of freedom is sometimes high
Extremely more when our loved ones die.
Men and women pledged to fight and serve
And they deserve our support.

Humanity itself is the culprit
That through the story, the story is the same.
Peace, like love, can be difficult to acquire
Always with enemy fire.

Somehow the righteous tend to prevail
In the miss-guide, with a tendency to fail.
No wonder we fear that the languages are
The disputes below humanity as God's heaven.

The danger faced by our soldiers is real
So let them know how we feel.
Etc. Put your flag and show your heart
Because we love us out.

The Battle for Baghdad

Determined though scared, I'm at my own pace
In the deadly streets of Baghdad.
The search for any damage our plot
Or by our death are joyous and happy.

Standing in shadows caused by the moon
I'm reminded of my nights back home.
I wonder if the woman I love
It is becoming increasingly weary of sleeping alone?

I feel remorse for all who live here
For this place is hell of a madman.
And those who want to keep it that way
Must be killed or locked up in jail.

My greatest fear is not my death
But I'm going to end in a wheelchair.
Disabled for the rest of my life
Depending on others for care.

My wife, she prays for my safe return
As killed the night and day more GI's.
She knows very well Well, whatever it takes
The oath that I have given will be fulfilled.

SADDAM

The king of Baghdad has been reduced
Never again dictate.
The man convicted of crimes of this
And heaven flee for his sin.

For his tyranny, he was famous
In every capital on earth.
Until arrested at his spider hole
Completely stripped of his asset.

He is guilty of rape and genocide
While he ruled without remorse.
His power and prestige were toppled
Once George Bush set his course.

While it may seem that the wicked
And have conquered by their brutality of hand,
Through the power of faith they are defeated
The seeds of goodness in man.

FORMIDABLE FOE

America is the birthday cake of earth
As the ants march from every direction.
Thank God for all those who have sworn to defend his
Serve with love, honor, pride and affection.

From the first day George Washington went to war
There have been those who have wished our demise.
Their hatred, fueled by jealousy and greed
Went defeated by our brave and wise.

Once again, we must face a formidable foe
Which are committed by God to destroy us all
Abusing his faith as an excuse to kill
On the worldwide jihad, their leaders call.

Some say we should try to appease them
For if we resist, they hate us even more.
However, David's among us deliver our stones
Defeating them, as had done before.

SHOULD TOMORROW START WITHOUT ME

If tomorrow starts without me
Remember I love you.
Looking down from above
Seeing everything you do.

If I become a victim
I pray Will Love Again
Who ever makes you happy
I will consider my friend.

If tomorrow starts without me
Remember our children, God loves all who care.
And when life seems too harsh and cruel
With "it" must share their prayer.

I have shown I am not a coward
Breaks and that will survive.
Fearing death always kisses me
On the streets of Baghdad I drive.

If tomorrow starts without me
I choose to be proud to serve.
Our faith and our patriotism
Earn the freedom we deserve.

I miss home more than ever
It breaks my heart to stay away
I can not help but want to hold you
And whisper what I say.

AMERICAN SOLDIER

Our soldiers are lining up to be remembered
Like the best of the best in their work.
They want to be necessary and depends on
To save all we love from the crowd.

They risk their lives physical integrity and freedom
Standing firm against evil unwilling to break.
To be part of something larger than themselves
They are willing to sacrifice what's going to take.

Thank heaven for HEROES

Thank God for the life heroes
Which led to overcome those who are not.
The wise are grateful for all the blessings of God
If not realize how stupid they have.

America is the grain train land
Whose people exercise rule by their vote.
Everyone has the opportunity to participate and prosper
As you arrive on foot, by plane or boat.

Our freedom is based on the law of the land
Our future depends on our sand.
Our past has known both good and bad
And from our mistakes, we are ready to admit.

The grim hatred from the heart of America
And choose to put your question to shame
The devotion of most who love and live here
Get up to defeat the soldiers of blame.

THE LONELINESS OF WAR

I know that I'm still here so far, far away
As we fight for what they think is right.
I wonder about you and your mom
Every moment of every day night.

The loneliness of war can drive you crazy
If you do not get letters of concern from the house.
Left, right, back and forth,
The expected death out of love.

May God be saved
To return home or live the here after.
Bloody, dirt covered men, see every day
As we yearn for those days of laughter.

The look from afar to a fallen comrade
As you stay with him until his end.
No mother brought her newborn son
With more care, than we are a friend.

Many have their own personal journals
To help keep their faculties together.
Watching hot steel crash into human flesh
Always makes home seem far away and better.

I've become an expert in dodging, weaving and diving
So do not worry too much about me.
Just help your mom and liabilities from the ground
And while I'm gone be all it can be.

SLAUGHTER, processing and UNRESTRICTED WAR

Japan had not lost a war since 1598
Each man carried 400 rounds of ammunition
(twice as an infantryman americana)
With five days rations and determination brave.

The men in brown uniforms clumsily wrapped
From earliest childhood they had been taught
To die for the emperor and one's country
It was the greatest of all glories to be sought.

In addition, the hardware backing them was awesome
As snipers were accurate up to a thousand meters and more.
Their ships were faster, their guns bigger, Their torpedoes better
And its aircraft unmatched in quality, aerobatics and score.

Only by sacrifice, transformation, and unrestricted warfare
America was able to overcome and prevail.
Once again U.S. must stand firm to survive
As we face a new monster from hell.

VIETNAM

Soldier in the Rain

I'm just a soldier that is in the rain
My memories of home are what keep me sane.
Back home is a land milk and honey
Ruled by lust and the love of money.

But what can I say, when to serve its true
To which I offered to see through this war.
Now, I'm here, is hard to believe
We are the victims of those who cheat.

As darkness falls over rice fields of Nam
Scared men with rifles walk the shadows of the calm.
It is thousands of miles to the steps of my church
With its stained glass, steeples and looking for lost souls.

In the distance I see an arc light
The bombs being dropped on children at night.
I've seen that evil they call yellow rain
And how life withers when it is sprayed by an airplane.

All my friends have been removed
No more touch football will play always.
Zip in their plastic bags for the long journey back
Are some of the bravest I ever knew.

War is hell, prepared by man
There is no death in the sea, sky and earth.
Lord, I can not help but want to be home
Back with my love, I hope alone?

DADS AT WAR

Where would I be without you dad
My hero of night and day
I'm so happy that the love of my mother
And take time for us every day.

The last time I played baseball
You came to me with his hand.
I will looked, and then made a wish
That might be only half the man.

I love my father of this land
And I love my father in heaven.
It is hard to love me, you know?
Because I'm only eleven.

Mom and I sure miss you
Since you left to defend our flag.
When others ask, where is your dad
I can not brag and boast.

BULLETS AND BarbWire

We wake up at the crack of rifle fire
With mortar shells on the floor nearby.
The shrapnel was absorbed by sand bags
That saved a lot of us that would not die.

The hot spent shell casings fell to the ground
As the CV charge our fortified hill.
We have killed so many the stench made us sick
As we struggle to live and not by emotion.

Barbed wire, bullets and clay-mores took their toll
As red and green tracers lit heaven.
Soon I was the last GI left
When napalm caused my enemy to fry.

Fleeing the sound of our shots of helicopters
The enemy retreated to the caves and trees.
Then I yelled "thank you" to heaven above
As I checked out my friends on my knees.

Somehow I managed to survive the day
Although many who have served with names I've read
Carved in black stone Shinny The Wall
Are my colleagues in the war, among the dead.

KOREA 1950

UN soldiers fought and were forced to retire
Behind sandbags protected by rings of barbed wire.
GI Many died because the attacks took place
Per 810,000 Communist troops.

Our guys used phosphorus, flamethrowers and napalm,
For without these weapons they could not survive.
Communist charges bugle
Until the UN could begin is the offensive unit.

In the battlefield of death and misery
Many froze with their hands still stuck to their guns.
While others hobbled with their boots wrapped in rags
City boys, farmers, students, parents and children.

With a million and half of deaths and injuries
Both sides singed a truce before generals involved.
July 27, 1953
And though thousands were orphaned, resolved nothing.

WORLD WAR II

WAR

When war is waged is made charge
And events beyond control.
The madness of men can alter the soil
He feeds the roots of his soul.

Much will change forever
Much more will want to be.
As the wrath of war starts to destroy
Those things to fight to keep free.

War is the greatest plague of man
Religion, State, and sanity.
Any scourge is more preferred
That the one which disables humanity.

When war breaks out, the limits exchange
And all who die are a symbol
Of the rage that must run its course
Before words of peace are spoken.

TROOPS SHIP

Our ship had sailed before dawn
Surrounded by the thickest of the fog
Still ignorant of our fate
Or what was written in the diary of Captain.

It was not long to see
Our cruise was not for fun
An experience of a lifetime
With nothing to run.

Twenty knots per hour, which toured
As the white caps passed us by
Ten thousand young Americans
To Europe to die.

A sailor told us not to worry
One day we went to our mail.
Uncle Sam would make sure
No matter how far you sail.

Thirty feet deep tried to sleep
Under the waterline of the ship
Just the place for claustrophobia
To enter my mind.

My favorite vest was my May West
I wore all the time
Only if German submarines
Or an underwater mine.

Thirty-three days that we were at sea
We crossed the Ecuador twice.
Many years have passed since then
Those years of sacrifice.

BRAVERY

Many brave souls lived before now
Without crying and unknown to her face.
Lost somewhere in the distant night
Until a poet chronicles their grace.

True value is shown by conducting
Without witnesses, what could be
Able to the world
Without any or all to see.

How great the brave who rest in peace
All the blessings of heaven to land.
It gave our country but their best
Those destined to be brave from birth.

PEARL HARBOR

Sunday, December seventh
In 1941,
While most of Hawaii still slept
Came the planes of the Rising Sun.

Waves of bombers and fighters flew
From the decks of Japanese ships.
While our planes were still on the ground
"Banzai" was spoken from his lips.

The winds of war had blown
Through the oceans of our earth
Although it was not until Pearl had been bombed
We found What account value of freedom.

Wars are fought and won on two fronts
At home and in the battle line.
Both are equally important
When war consumes our heart and mind.

The attack brought us World War II
With death, pain and separation.
Everyone those who had served were well aware
Of their sacrifice for the nation.

CONFLICT

The harder the conflict that sometimes faced
The far more glorious is the victory.
The tyranny like hell is hard to beat
When contemplating his head in history.

War never leaves a country as it was
When neutrality is a word count.
When the murderers of the man himself
Are to blame for all those who have left.

D – DAY OF THE WALL

Over two hundred rangers scale "The Wall"
A stone cliff over a hundred feet high.
Some of them did all the way to the top
While others fell and perished as a result of his fall.

Those who got the call of God more, had responded
For men to stop evil once and for all.
They fought against the Germans and destroyed their weapons
To save the lives of our parents and children.

So many years have passed since then
When the future of our world was saved by brave men.
We can not forget the hell we went through
Before the skies, again turned blue.

D-DAY

D-Day raised the curtain on the conflict
Therefore, following the end of the dream of Hitler.
The largest landing increasingly joint combat
While blood from both sides flowed like a river.

When the boats hit the sand, their ramps down
And all within a visit to hell.
They jumped to do good for his country
And to kill the enemy without fail.

They fought against the Germans, tides, winds and waves
Under the conditions are not easily predictable.
By night the battle was in our favor
With courage, bravery, death, and men who cry.

The corpses littered the beach for five miles
Though heroism had carried the day.
With literally thousands of dead or injured
Those who remained were determined to stay.

They face great difficulties and chose not to protest
And won the war that put evil to shame.
Most returned home, married and had their babies
But we could not recall with pain.

MIDWAY

It was June 4 1942
As I was floating in the ocean
The ship had sailed on, sank to the bottom
And I never thought I again, see home.

The Japanese had steamed the fleet from the east
With the intention of capturing Midway.
Although they were arrested by American warships
Whose guns, bombs and torpedoes planes saved the day.

Throughout the night, I saw the fireworks of war
And in the second day the heat.
While the big bombers dropped their loads Hawaii
The Japanese ships soon opted out.

An imperial pilot came floating
They had been bitten by animals of the sea.
I could not help but feel passion for this is the man
Who had answered his call just like me.

When finished, I was taken out of the depths
For men in a lifeboat just after dawn.
For two days I had seen the battle for Midway
Now it is quieter and the enemy is gone.

SURVIVAL

I left all night and was losing my hope
Before the moonlight, I saw the dry land.
I floated over and through its coral beach
Where he quickly softens my footprints in the sand.

All I had was my dagger and a canteen
And was 4 of may 43.
Just me alone on an island enemy
It was not a safe place for a sailor to be.

I felt I could kill in less than a heartbeat
If that's what it took for me to survive.
I had already thanked you many times
For "God" was the reason he was alive.

Off in the darkness, a herd voices of two men
Laughing and talking in a language not mine.
Inch by inch, I approached their camp
Where, in what they were eating, would soon eat.

I stabbed them both and took their fish, rice and wine
Then he ran his way back to the raft by the beach.
Soon was floating in the ocean again
And far enough bullets could not reach.

The next day I was picked up by a seaplane
Whose crew discovered sailing through the air.
Once inside and safe, I cried like a child
For the dead who would always be there.

It was hard to believe that heaven let me live
A farmer in Kansas, in high school last year.
My girlfriend is blond and she hates it I'm gone
Although I am a veteran of the battle, death and fear.

OKINAWA

Okinawa was to be our last stop
Before we invaded Japan.
The largest landing of the Pacific War
As our soldiers ran across the sand.

At first our marines were scarcely opposed
But on the fifth day hell they found.
A solid wall of human resistance
Firing their weapons from caves in the ground.

Air power and heavy artillery had little effect
In his strong cliff carved in limestone.
It took man against man to root out
As bullets pierced flesh.

The kamikaze pilot crashed his plane
Knocking out the transport and warships.
As the Air Force Imperial hit our fleet
The cries of fear and hatred spews from his lips.

One hundred ten thousand Japanese
By the end of the battle were killed.
Over twelve thousand Americans died,
Before, just our flag flew over the field.

Battle of the Atlantic

After the fall of France in 1940
The Germans soon began their own blockade
With most of their efforts in the Atlantic
Hoping to reduce the flow Britain's trade war.

With fast surface invaders like Bismarck
Merchant ships caught at sea, had little chance.
The small German navy sank ship after ship
Until the British Navy destroyed war Romance.

The loss of transmission of German submarines increased
And it seemed lost the battle of the Atlantic.
But soon America would enter the war
To defeat the enemies of freedom at all costs.

Multitudes are dying and their families mourn
Before the Second World War was fought to the end.
What a waste of humanity, who had lost his mind
Even now, our enemy is our friend.

ITEM

True words, which portray my love
I am writing to you from inside my heart.
We must always remember what we feel
Though through conflict we are forced separately.

Nobody can say how long it will last
Because life is not eternal.
However, most hoping to be blessed by love
As does our casting.

As the fear of battle bites my flesh
My thoughts of home help keep me healthy.
There is no guarantee that I will survive
But either way, I will serve without shame.

Should the cold hands of death to reach me
I pray my soul wakes from sleep.
At the voice of God, assured me
To my mind, has decided to keep.

So try to remember while I was there ido
That the person I need most is you.
I will fight like hell to stay alive
To return home to the love that I knew.

Prisoners of war

When you become a prisoner of war
You will find that it has lost its freedom and more
The guy with the gun tells you what to do
As we long for the freedoms you had before.

His will to survive helps you stay alive
Although sometimes wish you were dead.
Tortures far beyond any normal mind
And there is no safety even in your bed.

Bullets, barbed wire, searchlights and sharp teeth
Keep in a place that does not want to be.
The food is pretty awful and sometimes moves
And you have no choice of what you hear or see.

The lucky are released and return home
Though in their dreams, their destiny is not safe.
War may be hell, but confinement is worse
Cause then you never like you.

GENERAL QUARTERS

HQ, headquarters
All men hands of his battle station!
Morning of Sunday, December 7th, the
When war against our nation.

We soon discovered that was not a simulacrum
But instead, was the real war.
As you see the death of friends and colleagues
It's more anger than fear you feel.

Combat aircraft Japanese came flying low
As noted in my view of the pistol.
From the deck of a ship anchored at Pearl
Damaged, but the crew still eager to fight.

I saw the face of a pilot who crashed
Surrounded by black smoke and fire.
Some of my bullets found their mark.
For his death was, but my desire!

Two thousand three hundred dead veintitrés
In a battle less than two hours.
With the heart of our Pacific fleet gone
Japan has shown its naval powers.

The bombing and strafing of ships and troops
Caused our Congress to declare war.
When more than one man put his life
The fight for flag, country and more.

KENNEDY = years of war
PT-109

After the attack on Pearl Harbor
He applied for sea duty in the war.
When Lt. John F. Kennedy
He became known for their courage and far more.

In the dark hours before dawn
On August 2, 43.
Kennedy commanded a torpedo boat
Through the blackness of night at sea.

PT 109, was on patrol of Solomon
With 12 crew in a plywood boat.
A Japanese destroyer plowed through night
Ramming and cutting Kennedy's boat in half.

Two of the crew missing
A third was badly burned.
Kennedy himself was thrown to cover
When in pain his leadership he earned.

Some of his men had never learned to swim
As the bow floated met.
The hours passed tell it seemed it would sink
So it became an island, and here's how.

He ordered those who could swim
The others were clinging to a beam.
Kennedy grabbed the injured sailor
And they were the tread through the ocean current.

With teeth clenched in the man's vest straps burned
Skipper Kennedy swam 3 miles.
5 hours later, all done
Despite its difficulties, sharks, and trials.

The next problem was how to summon help
Without arousing the enemy everywhere.
After several attempts to swim to other islands
Finally, two Indians in a canoe were found.

Kennedy scratch a note on a coconut
Being delivered to a base of 38 miles distance.
The message did and they were saved
And his value is still alive today.

FIRST WORLD WAR

FLY-BOYS

The First World War gave us the fly boys
That flew by the seat of your pants.
Many of them never return from war
While others survived by chance.

Their planes were mostly canvas and wood
Gasoline, bullets, bombs and poison gas.
Each pilot has his own gun
The use of fur, scarf and goggles of glass.

Aviators had no Parachutes
To escape their burning plane.
Many were forced to go to death
Or self decline a bullet in the brain.

Blimps where known as battleships of the sky
The roar of the engines gave reason for fear.
They flew so high it was difficult to break down
Collapse above the clouds till their targets drew near.

Tracer bullets were first used
In the guns of airplanes to set blimps a fire.
The sky became the highway of death of man
With the duty and honor their desire to drive.

How many Fly-boys have lost since then,
The days of the Great War and more?
Where do we get such brave souls of chance
That rise of the rest in the battles of the war?

THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR

In 1860, life was good
Until his simplicity let a single day.
The North wants to save the Union
While the South chose to break.

America was torn
As six hundred thousand died.
Over four years of total war
Women without husbands cried.

The sad fact of the Civil War
It is what was left at the end.
Too often, acts of evil men
Destroyed both enemy and friend.

The problem was that, once started
There was no peace or compromise.
The total victory to be proclaimed
Before leaving angry eyes of men.

Destroy all that helps the enemy
Was the cry of either side.
Anything to obtain victory
As the death ride.

Black men dressed in old uniforms
He became the Union's reserve.
They fought and died for their freedom
And their rights they earned and deserve.

Lifestyles would forever change
For all who survived the war.
It had ended as it began
With sadness, misery and more.

Both sides prayed to the same God
And he spoke words of the Bible.
The prayers of both were not answered
For everyone involved was responsible.

LA KANSAS BORDER

Coronado, in his quest to find gold for Spain
It was the first European green Kansas plane.
The explorers and traders who arrived from France.
They saw the buffalo and the Indians who danced.

In the mouth of the Kaw were campfires in the dark
Two men the river named Lewis and Clark.
A large number of Indians, forced out from the East
Resettled in Kansas where the buffalo feast.

Thus, more of a cowboy decided to stay
It was not very long and most Indians were forced away.
When Missouri joined the Union, Slave states equaled the free.
Which way is Kansas vote, Congress was eager to see?

The Heart-Landers were bleeding; their cities were in flames
As invaders of the slave states tried to force his desire.
The settlement of Lawrence was sacked by a mob
In retaliation was John Brown, whom the murder and robbery.

Kansas joined the Union in the Civil War.
After four long years of tragedy, many women lost their man.
Cattle trails met the railroads as it pushed across the state.
Farmers planted corn and wheat as the buffalo awaited their fate.

These days the frontier disappeared long ago, though the sunflower is still here
My childhood home of Kansas where the buffalo walks with deer.

BLACK POWDER BRIDGE

A courier driver hands his papers to me
They are instructions Robert E. Lee.
I have been told now is the time
To stop the movement of troops in the Rock Island Line.

I gather my men and loaded Boats
We powder our pistols and darken our coats.
Traveling the currents, the sun slips in sight
As brave men with a purpose have met to fight.

We capture a bridge before the moonrise
The Yankees who are here soon feed the flies.
The evil of war feed my brain
As you light the fuse to destroy a train.

Above us a trestle of timber and tar
As the oars to pull a willowed sand bank.
From the banks of the river, we see that approach
There are the shadows of the soldiers in the windows of a car.

With a bright yellow explosion and a roaring in my ear
I hear them scream as they're falling in fear.
The river is boiling in steam, steel and stems
On the way home from their families soon sing funeral hymns.

The only survivor was a red stallion stud
I linked her neck, and freed him from the mud.
As I ride in the chair under the stars that shine
I ask forgiveness and some peace of mind.

War is a lesson re willing to learn
When man has to the murder of fever and burns.
Lord, please forgive me for what I did
For all those who have silenced Some Mother's will.

THE FEVER OF FEAR

The canyons are filled with hot metal from the earth.
Soldiers are looting and burning our town.
The fever of fear runs through my veins
Like many blue uniforms jump from troop trains.

Smoke of hot barrels revolving around
About four thousand muskets volley their sound.
All my comrades have stopped a lead ball
Most scream, then stumble and fall.

Even the boy who carried the flag
Now he is dead, as he clings to that rag.
The cars with the path blood on the ground injured
Death and destruction are easily found.

The Generals are crying because they can not afford to lose
But always the soldier who dies on his feet.
Hooves are pounding on a bridge made of boards
As sunlight is reflected in the leaves of their swords.

Quickly I hide in the roots of a tree
Where land has been eroded and there is only room for me.
By nightfall I sneak out to the deck fog
Then float down the river, as I cling to a record.

Songs of their victory, ring through the night
While the cold, muddy water, I see your fire.
This reminds me of my old country church
When the preacher spoke the word of God his holy perch.

That the seed of all conflict began in a cave
When man, like the wild wolf had to prove he was brave.

THUNDER IN THE GROUND

The cannons are cries of a distant song
The battle lines are forming and there is little time to pray.
They're throwing bullets like hail from heaven
I am so full of fear because I do not want to die.

From beyond the hill yonder comes a terrifying sound
It's the music of horns and no thunder on the ground.
Rapid horsemen have developed their swords.
They are screaming and crying, and charging up the throat.

It is difficult to believe many do so through
Such as hacking and shooting at the boys in blue.
Then come the soldier men who are on their feet
Every time you drop one, my heart skips a beat.

There's a storm on the ground made of death, dust and smoke
My throat is so dry, not I must choke.
The fury of battle is bound to set
When most of the fighters lie dead on the floor.

At dusk, stretcher-bearers are afraid to look for
Feral pigs eat the wounded and I can not stand the sound.
Come dawn, we dig ditches for all the brave men lifeless
After quoting the words of our Bible praying heaven lets them in

SLAVERY

When the chain in the neck of a slave
The other end is attached to you.
His heart and soul are corrupted
And everything bad is going to do.

No government should exist for long
Who are the people are not really free.
Although there are people around the world
Who remain blind to how life should be.

Anyone who must enslave others
Shall dwell in their own living hell
After death, who will join his master
In this place of heaven fell.

But until then we will fight and resist
Make Someone put their chains away.
And those of us who may die first
From the sky Watch and pray

A brother against brother

In the course of becoming agents of
Young people West Point bonded like brothers.
Even tenants of the Civil War transformed friend to foe
As many cadets chose to serve others.

Fifty-five of sixty major battles fought
They are carried by graduates of the gray line.
Yankees and rebels raged at each other
To kill and plunder were virtues of the time.

More than six hundred thousand soldiers were consumed
Not to mention the multitudes of the population.
Cities farms and countryside were laid to waste
Before our Union was restored to a nation.

THE LITTLEST SOLDIER

Nine year old Johnny Clem who was only four meters
Ran away from Ohio, to answer the call of their country.
He joined the Union and became a drum
Soon to test the pistol was more than a toy.

Armed with a shotgun, cut to fits what
He shot a Rebel horseman who tried to do in
Awarded his sergeant stripes and a silver medal
His comrades offered him coffee your furnace hot.

The newspapers of the North, gladly published his story
Tale of the nine-year-old won his country's glory.

THE BATTLE

The moon is sky high
And perfectly round
As highlights the beauty
Of land in dispute.

Life is a journey
When the passage is free.
Then there is no trial
For life and you.

Butchery tomorrow
We will survive if we can.
Death and dismemberment
From the hand of man.

Some stumble
With the absence of breathing.
While others charge
In the face of death.

We will run into battle
And pray for the best
Hoping to somehow
We passed the test of God.

BUGLES

The blue and red flag, said rabble
Against his uniform covered gray dust.
Savage fight to kill our enemies
As the battle raged in the heat of the day

Volley after volley We put forth our blaze
With thousands of led balls broken flesh.
Blistering sweat rolled down all the faces
As they flew the songs of the war by horns.

There was the sound of noise of mallets in barrels
As each new minieball was loaded and fired.
Some shot aimlessly into the smoke
While others took aim at the worn and tired.

Bullets were appearing as the Fourth of July
But our enemy kept surging ahead.
Everyone while broke and ran in groups
Scattering to the forest fled.

From behind the protection of a stacked stone wall
The victorious cheered or sat starring
In all bodies of friends and foes
While for the wounded the surgeons were caring.

Soon the war was over and I survived
Despite its brutality on trampled ground.
From boy to man who became
However, even at night and you hear the sound.

LEAF ON THE WATER

From the East Coast was colonized by the British
As the Indians rule began to recede.
After many battles, lost their land
Give the white man's power and greed.

In the coming years like a leaf in water
The Indians were swept by the white man.
As hunters and pioneers pushing westward
Brought death and disease from the earth.

With the white settlements came the fur traders
Followed by soldiers, forts, whiskey and shape tools.
None of them helped the Indians to survive
Who opted for war, and break the white man's rules.

Many treaties were made, only to be broken
By those eager for land, timber, furs and gold.
Prospectors arrived to plunder the earth
And to be farmers, they were told the Indians.

The fight went to the meadows of the west
Over the mountains and down through the desert sand.
Indians proved to be formidable foe
Since both sides fought from afar and hand to hand.

Lt. Col. Custer, led his cavalry
In search of fame and misfortune to the tribe.
But instead were killed him and his men
By hostile Indians with painted faces.

Around the campfires of Rosebud and Pine Ridge
Canto warriors danced until the death of Sitting Bull.
Most were forced to surrender at Wounded Knee
When India obtained many sad his last breath.

With its fighting spirit completely broken
And their ancient tribal customs gone forever.
Proud Indians were moved to reservations
When a major in history life of song.

THE HINGE OF HISTORY

The hinge of history of changes in all directions
As past events are written.
Out of all that has happened since early man
Less expected was recorded to be found.

Babylonians chronicling the history maintained
Hebrews wrote the past as a dramatic story.
Greeks had no faith in the future in all
Thinking Mans repeated errors doom his glory.

Â

Christian added a new dimension to the story
Looking forward to the return of Christ to land.
In an ongoing drama of man and God
Believing all are created equal value.

Some have asked why we should study history
Only encourages us to live in the past.
When we forget history to repeat its mistakes
As a result of humanity is cast.

LA ALAMO

The leaves of the cottonwoods hung motionless
As outside the walls Santa Anna's horde closed in
A small group of Texans watched and waited
Concerned about combat and how life would end.

The battle from building to building
So the old mission chapel was the last fall.
Over 180 Texans died fighting for the man
Failure to yield, surrender or crawl.

Six weeks later Sam Houston joined forces
With "Remember the Alamo" as their battle cry.
Attacking and defeating Santa Anna's army
To win independence for Texas or die.

The Spanish word for "cottonwood" is "The Alamo"
The time popular name for the mission.
Today the bulk of the old chapel walled still stands
Preserved as a shrine of sacrifice and tradition.

General Washington

Once in command, who boxed in the British
In Boston, where he captured Dorchester Heights
Overlooking the Brits at his mercy
As his men pointed barrel with sites.

The British commander had but a choice
To navigate to New York to renew the fight.
When the English had much greater forces
Men soon pursued by Washington in mid-flight.

They went to Pennsylvania
After crossing the Hudson River retreating
With British forces in the persecution
It seemed as though George was doomed to defeat.

When winter seemed to have left struggle
That's when Washington crossed the Delaware.
On Christmas night seized Trenton
If Hesse were surprised and unaware.

He whipped the British at Princeton
Where in victory his men began to sing.
Washington then wintered in Morristown
The training of its combat troops by spring.

Washington fought bravely at Brandywine
And again in a place called Germantown
But the British were the victors
As the dead of both sides littered the ground

The Americans were blessed early spring
When the French entered the war in its side.
Though most suffered frostbite at Valley Forge
With the help of the French left calmly.

The battles continued in the North and South
As the king's soldiers razed the land.
Washington was in great despair
Asking for help to his weakened command.

Your prayers were answered by 5,000 soldiers
And a French fleet who took Chesapeake Bay.
Cornwallis at Yorktown was bottled
Who gave the drums victory in the game.

Yorktown was really the end of the war
Although not many realize that fact yet.
But the British soon grew tired the fight
And the terms for its end were signed and set.

Washington longed to retire at home
But his country chose him first president.
Cheering crowds waved flags of love and support
For those who believed that "he was sent from God.

Tom Cruise is amazing.. he doesn’t look his age. I know he has put a lot of effort to keep looking young. And also he is also a good father and a good husband

Debbra Alie October 11, 2010 at 3:58 am

Will be great if Tom Cruise will work with Jack Nicholson again. They were together in 1992 movie A few Good Men. I’ve heard that they plan to appear together in comedy “El Presidente”. Cheers!
