Information about Sony A810 Mp3 player and its features

The new NWZ-A810 and NWZ-S610 series of Walkman digital music players has standard user interface which facilitates to enjoy songs, videos or photos. To obtain a clear image quality, the video players have a big screen 320×240 pixel LCD displays video at 30 frames per second. The battery life allows up to eight hours of video playback for the NWZ-A810 series nine and a half hours for the NWZ-S610 series.

Unlike the S610 mostly plastic, the A810 looks and feels exceptionally well done. No Toy doubt anything similar on the brushed metal (available in black, white, pink and silver) or very bright chrome looking for bands, Walkman and Sony logos and the control of borders.

The Walkman A810 has the same simple user interface as the S610. The only difference is that the former has a clock icon while the second has FM radio icon on the top row. Both players have the same functionality of the clock display, the A810 has a specific icon for that since it has no tuner FM.

The audio quality on the DSEE function is excellent, but restores the pieces of music that is lost during compression and generally encourages the sound. There is also a five-band custom equalizer and a handful of EQ presets. The player supports MPEG-4 video, unprotected AAC, MP3, WMA and protected WMA and JPEG photos. Content looked and sounded great, although the 320 x 240-pixel screen colors were a little dull for our taste.

Audio formats supported are WMA, AAC and MP3, with integrated image viewer capable of handling JPEG files. Video formats include AVC (H.264/AVC) Baseline Profile and MPEG4. You can download progress format film. Movie and convert them for use with the Walkman ® video players. As might be expected, Sony Pictures Entertainment has also provided video content, both for the players.

Supports playing MP3 and WMA DRM and non-DRM audio files downloaded from multiple sources. It also supports non-DRM AAC content, giving you several options for downloading music the way you want. Shuffle play among songs a year selected at random. Use the first letter of the song, album or artist to easily find the music you are looking for.

Two things is this player apart from the pack: Sony EX series in ear headphones and the excellent battery life (an impressive 8 hours for video and 33 hours for audio). The tip of the silicone earbuds are far superior to regular headphones, although we are not excited about the two piece asymmetrical cable design.
