A look back on every album by Ozzy Osbourne
Another Ozzfest, another album, and one year of the Ozz-Man is in the books. No one can dispute the fact that Ozzy Osbourne is an icon. I like to call "The Johnny Cash of Heavy Metal."
Look at their careers and you will see where it will attract some of the parallel. His successful career has now spanned over 30 years, beginning with his famous home of Black Sabbath and then move on to a successful solo career alike. I will review his discography alone (ie, n Black Sabbath material).
1980 – Blizzard of Ozz
The first two Ozzy Osbourne Randy Rhoades albums /. Blizzard of Ozz is simply a masterpiece Ozzy had just left Black Sabbath signed a record deal, and this was launched to compete with Dio Black Sabbath Heaven & Hell debut.
"Crazy Train" is an anthem now. "Goodbye to Romance" is a great ballad. " Suicide Solution "is a great song lyric, despite all its controversy." Mr. Crowley "is a strange song also works well for movie soundtrack horror, I know from personal experience. I recommend this one to fans of not only metal. I recommend this for the casual listener. You will appreciate this album!
Fort Topics – "Crazy Train", "Goodbye To Romance", "Suicide Solution", "Mr. Crowley, "" Revelation (Mother Earth) "," Steal Away (The Night) "and" I Do not Know "
"Eh … "Topics -" Dee "," No Bone Movies "

1981 – Diary of a Madman
This is the second studio album and the last to be released with Randy Rhoades before his tragic plane crash. This is a very general fans favorite album solo Ozzy. Personally, I prefer Blizzard of Ozz, but that's just me.
To me, this is a matter of "Flying High Again." I love that song. "Over the Mountain", in my opinion, is a bit exaggerated. The rest is gold. The title track, "Diary of a Madman" is a bona fide classic!
If you are a casual listener of music and loved my first Blizzard of Ozz suggestion, then you'll love this too. If you are a metal fan of any kind … this belongs on your shelf / iPod.
Strong Topics – "Flying High Again," You Can not Kill Rock 'n' Roll "," Believer "," SATO "," Diary of a Madman "
"Eh …" Topics – "Over the Mountain", "dolls", "Tonight"

1982 – Speak of the Devil
This appears to make all visits Ozzy Black Sabbath live. This was done for all to compete with live album Black Sabbath with Ronnie James Dio. This is the first album that does not have Randy Rhoades.
When I can evaluate a live album, I find a couple of things.
Selection of songs – is a concept album live with nothing but Black Sabbath songs. So naturally, gets a grade A here.
Sound Quality – The sound of the album is very good. No real complaints.
Performance Artist - Ozzy's voice was off during these proceedings. To be frank, most of which sounds drunk in the whole. From the time the band is also a bit outside the
Most of the concerts.
Conclusion – If you want to live a Black Black Sabbath Ozzy's voice, get the album from the 1998 meeting. You can pass this control and her life would be more or less the same.
Rating: ***
1983 – Bark at the Moon
This is the first album post-Rhoades, and on a single value of his time before he came on board Zakk Wylde.
The album title track, "Bark at the Moon" is one of the best opening riff is one of the Ozzy's best songs. The rest is more or less hit or miss, and it looks like Ozzy was trying to capture the magic of the first two albums. Some songs sound as if were trying to be sequels to earlier favorites. For example, "So Tired" seems to go for the "Goodbye To Romance" vibe, but totally bombing. Anyway, Bark at the Moon is worth your time if you are a fan of the genre.
STRONG issues strong> – "Bark at the Moon", "Rock'n 'Roll Rebel "," Now You See It "
"Not now"
"Eh …" Topics – "You're No Different, "" Slow Down "
Weak Topics – "So Tired", "Waiting for Darkness", "Center of Eternity "
Rating: *** 1 / 2
1986 – The Ultimate Sin
This was an attempt to Ozzy in the hair metal. Now, I'm not going to give only one star because his hair band material. There is some material hair band I like, and slippery when Bon Jovi wet, it is not. "Shot in the Dark" is the "hit" on the album, but not very consistent with many other Ozzy Osbourne out there alone.
For completists ONLY. Otherwise, it is a sin to pay more than $ 2 in the ultimate sin.

"Eh … "Topics –
"Shot in the Dark", "The Ultimate Sin", "Never"
Weak items – "Secret
Loser, "" Do not know why, "" Thank God for the Bomb "" Ray, "" Fool

1987 – Tribute
This album was released as a tribute to Randy Rhoades, one of the greatest guitarists that
taken before his time. Of all the live album Ozzy, this is the best. When I give an album live, I look for a couple of things.
Selection of songs – the song selection here is impressive with the best tracks from Blizzard & Journal, plus some classic Black Sabbath (listen Randy totally break on "Paranoid").
Quality Sound – Sound quality is fantastic. It is very clear and large left Ozzy's voice.
Performance artist - Performance is fantastic. Ozzy does not sound drunk and, of course, Randy's guitars are crazy awesome!
Conclusion – This is the live album Ozzy better. If you like the Ozzman and / or live albums, GET IT!
Rating: *****
1988 – No rest for the wicked
No rest for the wicked presents the debut of Zakk Wylde. Unfortunately, this is another band "hair"-like album, and not very memorable. It is not the steaming pile of cow dung that Ultimate Sin, but it is the album that fans of Ozzy pretty much do not talk too much. The only saving grace is Mr. Wylde. There are tracks that have potential, such as "blood bath in paradise", but end up going nowhere.
Central Topics – "Miracle Man", "Fire in the Sky"
"Uh …" Topics – "Devil's Daughter," "Crazy Babies", "Breaking all the rules," "Bloodbath in Paradise," "Hero,"
Weak themes – "Tattooed Dancer", "Demon Alcohol"

1990 – Just Say Ozzy
A live album is an EP? That's not exactly something that you try to sell.
When I can evaluate a live album, I find a couple of things.
Selection of songs – Horrible! It features absolutely no first Ozzy
three solo studio albums, but with "Sweet Leaf? not get me wrong, it is one of my favorite Saturday, but it seems that this random selection when there is potential peaks, such "Crazy Train" or even bark "on the Moon."
Sound quality – not so great. The drums seem to dominate most guitars, and voices are a bit on the metallic side.
Performance artist – not bad. performance is not a blow away.
Bottom line – not worth your time. Why not just post a complete concert?

1991 – No More Tears
This in essence can be seen Ozzy album back. After entering rehab, Ozzy was out a lot of drugs that plague his life. After enlisting some outside professional composers, and finally, the use of Zakk Wylde to its full potential, released this masterpiece of Ozzy and reinvented its sound.
On the one hand, this is the first solo Ozzy where he learned the art of the "demo".
Zakk really shines on this album, especially on tracks like "sin" and "Mister Tinkertrain." "Mama, I'm Coming Home" is a wonderful ballad and best of Ozzy, as "Goodbye to Romance." Even the "…" Hey tracks are very good! Highly recommended for not only Ozzy and / or metal fans, but everyone!
Fort Topics – "Mister Tinkertrain," "I Do not Want to Change the World" "Mama I'm Coming Home", "Desire", "No More Tears", "Hellraiser", "NO", "Time After Time, "" Road To Nowhere "
"Eh …" Topics – "Zombie Stomp", "AVH"
Weak items – None

1993 – Live and Loud
This is an excellent live album and is the first with a bit more sober Ozzy on stage.
Song Selection – A major retrospective of the career Ozzy with a nice healthy mix of solo material and equipment Saturday. On this point, most track absent is Iron Man, but it is not technically a song Ozzy, so I will not count that against the score.
Sound Quality – Perfect. Absolutely no complaints.
Performance artist. The performance is fantastic. Zakk Wylde really shines here and always brings his "A-game" to a concert. You may also feel the excitement of Ozzy on "change." We even have a meeting Saturday on the track, ironically, "Black Sabbath." Above all, the most memorable performance is "Mama, I'm Coming Home. "
Conclusion – The only reason this does not get five stars is because it just tribute edges out. You should also get the video if you have the opportunity, and it is excellent.
Rating: **** 3 / 4
1995 – Ozzmosis
This is definitely the softer and more melodic album Ozzy ever released. In general, the Ozz is hated by fans but I personally enjoy it.
However, I like to keep an open mind. My favorite song on this is Perry Mason. I'll admit, there is something that just does not seem Ozzmosis right about. After thinking for a while, I think it's expensive production value really save the album to go completely by the crapper. If it was more raw and Ozzy's earlier work, an album that would be much worse.
Trivia – Bad English's Deen Castronovo and the battery pack trip on this album.
Fort Topics – "Perry Mason," "I Just Want You", "See You on the Other Side" "Ghost Behind My Eyes", "Denial," "My Jekyll does not hide"
"Uh …" Topics – "Underground Storm, "" Tomorrow, "" My Little Man "," Old LA Tonight "
Weak items – None

1997 – The Ozzman Cometh
This compilation is excellent, but in the end is horrible tracks Saturday demo that hurt this album. This room may have saved the missing in particular as "Flying High Again," "Perry Mason", and "Suicide Solution." The new track, "Back on Earth" is a good addition to the Ozzy catalog as well. If you are looking for a introduction, you may want to choose one of these unofficial essentialism.
Rating: ***
2001 – Feet on Earth
Blah! This album was released around the beginning of The Osbournes. For me, it seems that "Ozzmosis 2", and you know how sequels can go sometimes. If nothing else, "Gets Me Through" is a memorable song because the lyrics more or less sums up most of the career of Ozzy Osbourne. "Dreamer" is a song very well, but sounds like it belongs more in an album of trip instead of an album by Ozzy.
In general, this is a mediocre effort at best.
Central Topics – "Gets Me Through," "Facing Hell", "Dreamer", "Black Illusion "
"Eh …" Topics – "No Easy Way Out", "I never had," "Alive", "Junkie"
Weak Issues – "You know," "Running Out of Time"
Rating: ** 1 / 2
2002 – Live at Budokan
This is a horrible live album. After Tribute and Live & Loud, this is a great disappointment. Obviously it was a slap together to build on the success of The Osbournes.
Song Selection – Thirteen songs? Only thirteen tracks of shit? Not only that, but even a great selection. Outside Down to Earth, the tour was to promote the songs that do not belong are "Believer" Road to Nowhere "And" I Do not Want To Change the World. "What is missing in particular are" Goodbye to Romance "," Flying High Again " "Suicide Solution", "Miracle Man" and one of the entrances to Ozzmosis should have been trapped there.
Quality Sound – The biggest problem is the mix of the album. Amateur bootlegs I've heard better than this. Ozzy's voice tends to echo like you're in the section bleeding from the nose of a stage with an acoustic shit. His only positive is that Zakk Wylde's guitar squeals great sound.
Performance Artist – It was good, but I can attribute it possible exhaustion as Ozzy was a busy man and not at this point.
Conclusion – Pass this piece up trash. Get Live & Loud or tribute in place.

2005 – prince of darkness
This is a box set of demos, rarities, B sides, live performances, and covers. In general, a good compilation of completists only.
Disc 1 – Demos, live performances, and 2002 remastered versions of some of the early successes of Ozzy.
Disc 2 – See Disc 1
Disc 3 – Collaborations. Best album in the whole set! On the one hand you have is fabulous Primus
version of "NIB", which I think which is actually better than the original. Could have really done without the collaboration Miss Piggy, however. Instead, how about "Close My Eyes Forever" with Lita Ford? It was a pretty big hit at the time and should have been on this album!
Disc 4 – Covers. Some good. Some
horrible.
I emphasize the completists only.
Rating: ***
2005 – Under Cover
It is basically 9 of 10 from the disk covered four of the Prince of Darkness with four covers over thrown there.
I like cover albums, if done well. Good coverage has a great classic and reinterpreted for a new generation of hearing … giving a new fresh sound without losing the magic and mystique of the original. Some of my favorite covers are always versions of Genesis Disturbed "Land of Illusion" version of KoRn "Floyd Another Brick in the Wall" version Johnny Cash Nine Inch Nails "Hurt" and Marilyn Manson's version of "Sweet Dreams."
Unfortunately, none of that magic is here.
Some of these songs, I'm a real fan, but they are totally massacred in these covers. For example, "Sunshine of Your Love" Cream is my favorite song almost never. Here, not even close to the combination of the original. The production values here album rival William Hung debut.
This is karaoke night with Ozzy. The only positive here is Jerry Cantrell guitar and that's it. Stay away from it at all costs … unless you're a
collector.
Central Topics – "Mississippi Queen"
"Uh …" Topics – "Go Now, "" Working Class Hero "," Sympathy For The Devil "," Century Schizoid Man 21 "
Weak items – "Woman", "In My Life", "For What It's Worth", "All The Young Dudes," "Sunshine Of Your Love" "Fire," "Rocky Mountain Way", "Good Times"
Rating: ** 1 / 2
2007 – Black Rain
This was the first studio album of original Ozzy material in more than half a decade. Was also the first album Ozzy Osbourne created while being completely sober. It was very good, too. It is not for their three best albums, but it is much better than many of their other efforts.
Central Topics – "I Do not Want to Stop", "hatch", "God Bless the Almighty Dollar," "Not Going Away, "" Black Rain "
"Eh …" Topics – "Countdown has begun" "Silver"
Weak tracks – "Lay Your World On Me," "Here You To"
Rating: *** 3 / 4
In conclusion, there is no argument that Ozzy is one of the greatest artists of our time. Some might say he should retire. I only wish to cite the most recent Ozzy success when it comes to listening to the legend, "I will not stop."
