First, what are ebooks? Ebooks or electronic books are digital forms of paper books. So you not have to carry heavy books everywhere you go. These eBooks come in different formats and require specific hardware (e-book readers like the Amazon Kindle) to read. Ebooks originally started as a brief instruction manual or handbook for the geek guy. Adobe PDF format is popular. There are thousands and thousands of formats eBooks. All these days it is irresponsible in making electronic book format and eReader for it. Ebooks also provide easy availability of old classics, sometimes no longer available. And thanks to Project Gutenberg many of the old classics from Mark Twin, Charles Dickens, Jules Verne, Robert Louis Stevenson, Alexandre Dumas, etc. (sorry if I left my favorite authors of his name) are freely available to all interested parties to read.

People today easier to read an eBook instead of paper books because of the convenience it provides. based on the books (eBooks or paper are better are better is a diatribe for another day), can lead to a dozen e-books and more on your memory card without a problem, but it takes a dozen books based on paper is not an idea nice.

Authors and publishers have also begun to recognize this. Ok … Atleast some of the authors – JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series have said that Harry Potter series would not be released as electronic books. Seriously, does that matter? NO. Ebooks for almost all books are available online, could be in a different format, but can be easily converted to a desired format through ebook converter. I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows format PDF before buying the paperback. I'm not saying it's legal, just do not shout about it. However, the publishers and authors should understand / grasp the importance of electronic books in the present age – for the latest book by Dan Brown: The Lost Command (it is an amazing book and a whole sequel of the series. If you have not read – Read) the electronic book paperbased sold the book. News and trends twitter is full of a few days. What I'm trying to say is that if Dan Brown and his publisher have been published The Lost symbol only as paper-based book that would not have sold well. Ebook could not replace paper books, but they are here to stay and that are getting popular and products like the Amazon Kindle and the Sony Reader is required to read them.
