A comparison test GPS: Garmin / Becker / Harmon Kardon / Dash
I have a big problem. No, not my weight. I need to get a place. I have to go fro. However, an option to make this map on paper, which is not exactly going to work on a car while I am driving, because it is unsafe. Not only that, but a paper map can not say where in relation to where you are going. However, the modern equivalent is a portable navigation device, as this Garmin. In fact, we have four, a Garmin, a Becker, Harmon-kardon and a renewed urgency. We will find what is most appropriate to their needs.
Each one of these navigation devices has at least one thing. But each is very different in their approach. They get you where you want to go, but some are easier use. The last time I reviewed portable navigation devices, Garmin was our favorite. have to say that Garmin is one of the best navigation devices, but one of the things that change is the main screen. There are far fewer icons making it easier to find your way around. Garmin nuvi also has a 78-screen nice big bright with clear graphics. Another improvement is the display of traffic. It is now more detailed and all roads are labeled.
The Becker Traffic Assist is almost exactly the opposite. And that's not a good thing. The assembly is unattractive, the menus are difficult to understand. And the maps are slow to load. We are waiting and wating and waiting for something, anything to happen. But not all bad news for Becker. One of the good things is that Becker is the light and brings it from point A to point B. However, it is a little confusing.
Fortunately, Harmon Kardon GPS-810 is not the least bit confusing, but the system is full of features. It is also the only system that feels like it was factory installed. Harmon Kardon-play guidelines, which was one of our favorite systems last time we have done this test, having played a lot of different files from the media, it still does. After our four days of driving around, we definitely have some opinions on each of the navigation systems. Now it seems that everyone is good, but for a different reason dramatic. For example, the Garmin is the best in navigation. Plus it also has things like converter Currency, mp3 player, picture viewer and other features, but is also the most expensive. The following is the Becker. And the best thing we can say about that is it does get there. Unfortunately, some of the menus are clear, and has a direct time traffic subscription, which is not bad. Then The Harmon Kardon is good for people to play media files, videos or MP3 files and also plays music files from others as well. Addition, the control original distance gives a real feel equal when installed in your car. Finally, the Dash Express is the client built for travelers. It gives great information on traffic and is updated every one or two minutes. Furthermore, it has a search function on the Internet.
Before making a final decision however, you should find out what their needs, because each of these navigation systems has its strengths and weaknesses. And finally, the most expensive system is not necessarily the best.
