In buying a refurbished GPS has a couple of things you have to watch out. While often have a reduced price (often 10-20% discount at the lowest prices of products) that are unscrupulous people who try to give you shake and vibration. Are maps for the GPS that is currently buying the support? This is big business and should be the first question you ask your dealer. Sometimes a refurbished model not have specific support can and hope that you will pay for the latest version of its maps or just be stuck with a map that is not capable of be updated. This can be a real problem and cut into the savings they received by going with a refurbed model.
Is there a guarantee attached to your model? This is important because you will not stay in the lurch if the malfunction of the GPS. Many times there is a guarantee and is exactly equal to that provided in the 'new' models, But do you know for sure help and avoid the possibility of the screw in question and again.
It is the retailer is talking to an authorized dealer? If you are not a guarantee of unity could be annulled. Obviously not want that to happen. A dealer is simply someone who knows the manufacturer is selling products and have given permission. If not one of those dealers to find one that is.
