Garmin Quest

Nuvi 255W and peace of mind

Driving alone in unfamiliar territory is something made by millions of people every week. Getting lost in an unfamiliar place is also not uncommon, however, some of us have the ability to get lost in the most possible. As a woman driving alone in San Antonio, Texas, I found myself in part of the city looked like a movie set for a gang fight. Stop at the corner store for directions seemed the only option. While walked toward the car, I noticed several young men leaning against the front of the car. I smiled and tried to "show no fear 'despite probably heard that my heart beats. It is embroiled in return, but a jump away from the car. When I checked into the hotel, I mentioned the experience with the receptionist and said "you are one lucky lady." When I saw the local morning paper, the headlines reported a "gang related" murder opposite the corner shop to the instructions provided! I knew two things: I have a guardian angel and I needed a Garmin.

After some research, I found the Garmin nuvi 255W. Is more than just a navigation system. It has features that make it extremely useful. The touch screen is easy to use and connection to the satellites is rapidly unravel. It has a photo browser that lets you upload geo-coding photos from a phone, camera or photo site and then go to the location. The 4.3-inch screen is clear, bright and easy to read. In the upper screen displays the speed limit for main roads. Memory slots available to add maps and travel guides. Another useful feature is the ability to send addresses from Google Maps or Map Quest directly to Garmin. Simply connect the Garmin to your computer via USB port.

The Garmin is portable, which means it can easily carry in your purse or pocket. Can be used in a car or while walking. My previous navigation system was on the board of my Expedition Eddie Bauer. When I switched cars, was gone the navigation system. With the Garmin portable, it stays with you. Have a Garmin Nuvi 255W at my side is not a luxury. It's really a safety issue and there is no price tag on peace of mind.
