
Gadgets that actually change lives
Too often we think about gadgets like small devices makes us fun: players MP3, cell phones, PDAs, music players. So we forget about the ones made to help people and really change your life.
This article is about the gadgets that improve the lives of people and are not as well known as a party and fun gadgets. I'll talk about gadgets built for people with disability, devices that help these people to have a better life. Most of these devices are made for the blinds so I'll start with those.
Electronic eyes
This high tech device recognizes the white stripes of a crosswalk and reads traffic lights could tell a blind person when it is safe to cross the street. The electronic eyes are being developed in the Kyoto Institute of Technology.
