Going on a summer trip? Check that they are in your car!

Summer car trips can make great family memories, or they can be great big disasters. Before leaving on the open road with kids in tow, make sure you have everything you need and have checked your car over security. Nothing would worse than getting on the road without any major issue!

Car Safety Checklist

One thing you should do before heading out for a big trip is to check your car to make sure it is safe. car problems are sometimes unavoidable, but do not want to ruin your big summer trip on a problem that could have been avoided. These are things you should always check before leaving home:

– Tire Pressure – make sure there is enough air in the tires. See owner's manual to see how much tire pressure should be.
– Oil – check the oil level and add oil if necessary.
– Transmission fluid – check the level of transmission fluid and add more if necessary.
– Other fluids – check the brake fluid, washer fluid, and the power-steering fluid levels too.
– Seat belts – seat belts and restraint to make sure they fit snugly and are not exhausted.
– Lighting – make sure all the lights of the car in his work, including turn signals and headlights.
– Wipers – make sure your windshield wipers are in good condition. If you are old, consider replacing them before leaving.
– Battery – check the battery terminal for corrosion.
– Spare tire – Make sure your spare tire is ready to be used if required. Make sure you have a connector for use if you have a flat.

– Credit card for emergencies (even if you intend to use it)
– ID
– House keys
– Sunglasses
– Insurance cards
– Snacks
– Sewing Kit
– Pillows

These items will help make your trip as comfortable as possible.

List Test for Children

If traveling with children, there are some essential items to have. Children are not as patient as adults in the car, so they need to stay entertained and fed. Make sure you have these before going on a summer trip in the family:

– Travel Toys – avoid toys that leave the mother and returned to the hunting of small pieces
– Travel media player or movie player
– Books on tape
– Healthy Snacks
– Leakproof Beverage
– Diapers (if needed)
– Change of clothes for each child
– Pacifiers (if used by the babies)
– Bottles and bottle gear
